“Quick to catch a body like lift”

“We keep his head like a monument”

“If they build a wall they gone have to build an underground railroad wide enough for my Maybach”

“Went to Disneyland talked to Mickey Mouse then I figured out how to figure out what I was figuring out – you figure it out

“I’m not playing like Kaepernick”

“Let the Money speak for itself and I never been a loud person”

It’s the gift that keeps on giving as legendary rapper Lil Wayne dropped the latest installment in his hot mix tape series Dedication 6 on Christmas. The 15 track project opens up with long time Tunechi collaborator DJ Drama chronicling the timeline of the Dedication series. Wheezy bodies covers of beats ranging from DNA, EveryDay We Lit, XO and The Story Of OJ. Collaborations on the project include Gudda Gudda, HoodyBaby, Baby E, Zoey Dollaz, Nicki Minaj as well as a scene stealing verse from Euro on the track “Blackout”. The mix tape displays an array of Wheezy’s signature autotune sound. At this stage in his career it mind boggles me how Wayne still raps with so much vigor. Wayne always has had the ability to effortlessly drop creative punch lines that another rapper would probably spend all day thinking of but for him is just another bar. The Dedication 6 is streaming online free now.
